The process of pharmaceutical water filtration is as following:
City water feed---sand filter---removal of silica---carbon filter---protection of ion exchange beds ---ion exchange---removal of resin fines---TO WFI still or to deionized water pad
In the process of removal of silica, SIIC 50-75 micron pp liquid filter bags and melt blown pp filter cartridges are used. The purpose is particulate removal.
In the process of protection of ion exchange beds, SIIC 10-25 micron pp liquid filter bags and melt blown pp filter cartridges are used. The purpose is particulate removal.
In the process of removal of resin fines, SIIC 1-5 micron pp liquid filter bags and melt blown pp filter cartridges are used, the purpose is visual clarity.
